Meet Angie...
Angie’s has always had a passion for teaching others, as well as decorating, and now she brings her expertise on board with The Decorating and Staging Academy. Her training began with classes in upholstery, window treatments and furniture refurbishing. With this passion for interiors, Angie became a certified professional in staging and redesigns. She then began working with a custom builder as their interior decorator, developing homes and neighborhoods that won numerous awards in North Carolina. Angie has detailed experience in building homes from the blueprints, assisting homeowners with material selections, and planning all elements of a showcase Parade home. She truly understands great design and how to make a house both beautiful and functional. With a secondary science teaching degree from Auburn University, she knows what it takes to guide others in the right direction. Through hands on training and education, she leads others to be successful as a person and entrepreneur.
With over ten years of experience in creating beautiful spaces for commercial, residential and custom home builders, Angie is now a Professional Trainer with The Decorating and Staging Academy. Since education has always been a priority for her, Angie is excited to be teaching others how to successfully start their own business in Interior Redesign and Real Estate Staging. The curriculum is truly amazing for teaching adults how to start their own business and it is endorsed by Nationally recognized corporations in decorating and staging.
Over the past ten years, Angie has received top awards in Interior Decorating, Real Estate Staging and assisting builders with custom built homes. She has been featured in local newspapers and magazines. She has also written and launched the Home Economics curriculum for North Raleigh Christian Academy (NRCA), a top rated private school in Raleigh, NC. At NRCA, she has been able to impact the lives of many young men and women with her love of teaching and mentoring. With her combined experience of teaching and decorating, Angie is the expert in training with The Decorating and Staging Academy-Texas.
