1979 JoAnne Lenart-Weary Interiors was launched offering full service decorating to clients around the country by interior decorator and industry guru, JoAnne Lenart-Weary. She has been featured on HGTV and a weekly TV segment for WJET-TV.
1982 Carol Bass purchased two franchises and honed entrepreneurial skills.
1990 JLW Interiors spins off One Day Decorating (ODD), created to address needs of the client who wanted a beautiful room in a more cost effective and timely manner.
1994 Carol sold franchises, began career as trainer for large direct marketing company applying acquired entrepreneurial skills
1998 One Day Decorating Website launched and JoAnne began offering professional decorating training around country, including redesign, staging, and decorating for IRIS and other associations. This began the journey of the longest running hands-on decorating classes programs in the country.
2003 Carol Bass launched and grew successful redesign and staging business in New Jersey. JoAnne appears on HGTV.
2003 Carol Bass, successful entrepreneur, customer service expert, and talented decorator, joins One Day Decorating. Together, Carol and JoAnne, both Master Professional Trainers, take ODD to new levels with addition of an even more interactive training approach. They are honored to have trained thousands of successful entrepreneurs and many current trainers around the country. The One Day Decorating curriculum has been recognized and endorsed by The SDP, IRIS, CHF Academy, RESA, Grace McNamara, INC and more.
2005 Carol and JoAnne honored to be co-founders of The Society of Decorating Professionals, along with Kris Porter and Jane Douglas.
2006 JoAnne along with Cyndie Stefanik, invented patented color system, Color with No Regrets
2006 Hand-selected group of talented decorating veterans, delightfully called, The ODD Squad, to teach One Day Decorating classes across the country. Bobi McGinnis, Sandra Racz, Cheryl Cousins and DesAnn Collins, make up this stellar training team. Along with JoAnne, and Carol, they continue to offer cutting edge and practical training in:

2009 Launched The ODDmopolitan, very first online flip magazine geared to those with a passion for decorating for pleasure and profit. The magazine was a spin off of the longest running online decorating newsletter in the country.
2009 Launched, along with Tracy Fredrychowski, Your Success Studio, a business and marketing support business.
2010 As of February 1, 2010 One Day Decorating is now The Decorating and Staging Academy.
